Sebastijan Čutura

Sebastijan Čutura

Sebastijan Čutura is the Policy and CISO Community Manager at the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), where he analyzes cybersecurity policies, focusing on regulatory impacts on end-users. He specializes in Cyber Threat Intelligence and organizes the CISO Meetup event. A recognized speaker at international cybersecurity conferences, Sebastijan has also contributed to the World Economic Forum’s working group. He holds a degree from the Economics School of Louvain and previously worked on the NIS2 Directive at the European Parliament’s ITRE Committee.

Ian J. West

Ian J. West

Ian J. West is the former Chief of the NATO Cyber Security Centre, where he led an international team responsible for safeguarding NATO’s critical networks. With +40 years of experience in military and cyber security, he held positions as a law enforcement and security officer in the UK Royal Air Force and served as the first Director of the NATO Computer Incident Response Capability Technical Centre. Ian was honoured with the title of ‘CISO of the Year’ at the 2016 SC Magazine Awards. He now offers guidance to organizations.

Eric Van Cangh

Eric van Cangh

Eric van Cangh, an engineering graduate in Physical & Theoretical Chemistry with an Executive Master in IT and Info Sec Management at Solvay Business School, leads the cybersecurity efforts at Agoria. With certifications in GDPR, ITILv3, and COBIT 2019, his career spans significant roles at ING, focusing on IT resilience and disaster recovery. Eric co-authored the first socio-economic study on cybersecurity in Belgium and actively participates in key industry groups. Passionate about educating on the value of cybersecurity, he is a Lifetime Honorary Member of the Round Table Association Club. He lives by the motto: ‘If you want to go far, go together.

Guy Kindermans

Guy Kindermans

Guy Kindermans, with over 30 years at Belgian IT magazine Data News, has covered a broad spectrum of IT topics, from microchips to enterprise applications. He has authored a book, appeared on ICT TV programs, and served on several ICT award juries. Focused on information security and privacy, he frequently speaks on these issues for organizations such as IIBA and IEEE. In Belgium, he played a pivotal role in the early editions of InfoSecurity, the precursor to Cybersec Europe.

Levi Nietvelt

Levi Nietvelt is Business Manager at Beltug, the Belgian association of CIOs and digital technology leaderswhich just like Cybersec Europe, aims at increasing the cyber resilience of their 500 members. At Beltug, he chairs the cybersecurity task force and organises the sessions on security topics. He has over 15 years of European and International work experience in public affairs, international relations and economic and legal analysis.

Marc Vael

Marc Vael celebrates 30 years experience as a security, privacy and IT audit expert. He is Platform Chief Information Security Officer at Danaher Packaging & Color Management. He has certifications in infosecurity (CISM/CISSP), IT risk management (CRISC), IT governance (CGEIT/ITIL service manager) and is a board director.  Marc is a frequent lecturer at business schools and conferences and published three books.

Christian has always been very eager to work in the Cyber Security domains since already the early days of the Internet. He has more than 30 years of experience in the Cyber Security business and holds certifications in information security (CISSP) as well as service management (ITIL v4). He was involved as a security expert with Proximus when the Cyber Security Coalition was established in 2015. Currently he is business development manager with the Cyber Security Coalition, a unique Belgian Ecosystem and collaboration platform where Cyber Security experts meet and join forces to fight cybercrime.

Peter Witsenburg is Founder of Belgium Cloud and CloudMakelaar. Over the past ten years, Peter has had the opportunity to work in the field of Cloud computing and IT security. In the latter sector, Peter was responsible for performing various internal audits based on ISMS and GDPR). Working with, among others, AG Insurance, Interxion and Medialaan, he has also contributed to the implementation of the ISO27001 ISMS standard.

LSEC is a cyber security catalyst, bringing together enterprise and government users, with industrial ICT Security expertise and academic experts. Ulrich holds an active role in corporate development of more than 20 innovative cyber security companies.

William Visterin

William Visterin

William Visterin is editor-in-chief of Computable Belgium, and in that role also jointly responsible for the content program of Cybersec Europe. He is also responsible for the Computable Awards that will be presented at the fair. William is a business and IT journalist with over twenty years of experience. He is also a public speaker and involved in various editorial projects. He previously worked for VRT and De Tijd, among others.
